I have been teaching for eighteen years and am always looking for new and engaging ways to blend both digital and traditional practices into the classroom to increase student engagement and achievement. My goal has always been to bring creativity and student choice to the classroom to make school and learning fun for my students. In 2015, I became an Apple Distinguished Educator and continue to work closely with other ADE's around the world to develop and promote powerful ideas for improving teaching and learning. When I am not teaching, I enjoy rowing, biking, volleyball, yard work, and spending time with my wife and two sons.
